Time to leave Venice behind and travel on! After a quick lunch at the train station we hopped on our 1,5 hour train ride to Verona Porta Nuova Station.

Arriving around 13:40 we took an about 30 minutes walk to our B&B, whilst the sun scourged our sholders. As we only had one day here, the first thing we did after checking in was to head off to the old city!

Which is absolutely gorgeous! Old houses line the the small cobblestone streets, balconies with flowers and lanterns at every corner. It really has a romantic touch and in our opinion its a city everyone should see at least once!

We viewed the old bridge, then the arena whilst sharing a delicious spicy salami pizza, before heading off to the balcony of Giulietta. The balcony is a simple little thing on a beutiful old italian mansion, looking out over a romantic little courtyard. Somehow it makes you feel like you just took a glimpse into the past.

Heading on we finished the day by climbing a multifold of stairs inorder to view the city from above as the sun went down.
